Three years after moving to Mumbai (Bombay as it was called than) Mr Kataria made is first movie Sister in 1978. His love for his native place Haryana was such he went back to Panipat and ended up making Haryanvi movie Batewoo.
These days he is busy with his new venture in Punjabi language Simran.
