Dengue fever

Thai public health authority estimates there will be 100,000 dengue fever this 2019 and is urging people to take care as the death toll is currently confirmed at 25.

SBS news reports that according to AAP source, Thai public health authority has already confirmed that there are 25 cases of dengue death so far this year and around 15,000 have contracted the virus comparing close to 90,000 in 2018 with over 100 death.

Around 15,000 cases was also found in Laos and there were 33 death. The Lao officials as also urge its citizens to take care of themselves, getting rid of any possible environment that mosquito will lay egg or raise their lava. Taking precaution and prevention as well as seeing doctors to diagnose if they get the disease. Lao health department said dengue fever in southern Laos is very contagious and more deadlier than the other part of the country.

It estimates that there will be a hundred thousand cases this year as the rainny season is approaching in, especially in the Southeast Asia region. Therefore Thai health authorities would like to urge its citizen to take care of themselves and preventing them from contracting this virus.
