Addressing the health needs of new and emerging communities is the key focus of this year's NSW Multicultural Health, commemorated on 2-8 September.
Even though Indonesian is not a new community in New South Wales, it is seen that there is a need to deliver the information on health in Bahasa Indonesia, especially for those new-settlers.
SBS Indonesian interviewed Sitti Chadidjah, Bilingual Community Worker from the Multicultural Health Service in Western Sydney Local Health District in this regard.
