A third of Australian teenagers face discrimination and bullying based on their appearance and race.

According to the Study of Australian Children, a third of Australian teenagers suffer discrimination, most commonly because of their body, appearance or race.


The trend is having a damaging impact on mental health with those bullied more likely to experience mental health issues like depression. But there are ways to deal with the problem.
