The use of AI AI interviews is gaining momentum in Australia, utilize technology to evaluate job candidates. There are some benefits of AI interviews, namely it is of efficient, reduces bias and since it is data-driven, it is able to give insights of candidates performances and preferences.

However, Ifrin Fittock, the CEO of SisterWorks has some reservations particularly when the AI interview is used to evaluate candidates from the non-English background such as migrants, refugees or even the first time job seekers. She believes that more preparations are needed so that the candidates feel comfortable and not feeling intimidated.

Therefore, SisterWorks, a not for profit organisation which helps to empower women, migrants and refugees, has developed training and exercises for them. Ifrin explained to SBS Indonesian what she has done tho prepare the seekers who are not from the English-speaking background or cultures.
