In a month of growing outrage about the standards of behaviour in Canberra, Federal liberal member Andrew Laming announced he will quit politics at the next federal election after coming under fire for allegations of bullying women online.

Pressure has been coming from some of his party-room colleagues.  They have called him for him not to seek another term in parliament.  What might the consequences be for the Federal Government?
