Since 2017, Papuan Voices has organized the annual Papua Film Festival (FFP). Several series of FFP activities include training on making documentary films, documentary film competitions, workshops, and screenings of documentary films.
Papuan Voices is a filmmaking community in Papua that focuses on producing short documentaries about people and the land of Papua. The aim is to present stories about Papua from the point of view of the Papuan people themselves.
FFP IV opened with the celebration of Mambesak Day (5 August), National Seminar (6 August) and 7-9 August (Papua Film Festival).
Bernard Koten from Papuan Voices, explained about FFP in the following interview.
