Australia and Indonesia strengthen defence ties

Australia and Indonesia have vowed to strengthen defence ties and beef up joint training opportunities on Australian soil.


The foreign ministers of the two countries have also pledged to stop Afghanistan from becoming a breeding ground for terrorism that can destabilize the region.
The two countries have confirmed joint military exercises in the country.
But it sparked concern among some human rights groups
