In the wake of the collapse of the country's only recycling program for soft plastics, the Federal Government has now joined Australia up to a global coalition that aims to end plastic pollution by 2040.

In the wake of the collapse of the country's only recycling program for soft plastics, the Federal Government has now joined Australia up to a global coalition that aims to end plastic pollution by 2040.


Shane Cuckow [[kick-ow]] from the Australian Marine Conservation Foundation says about 11 million tonnes of plastic goes into the ocean every year.
