Apart of two-dimensional, fine arts can also be created in three-dimensional media. One example is sculpture.
Dilail Abimanyu had the opportunity to talk with Audya Amalia, an artist from Bandung who graduated from the sculpture study at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
Audya talked about the fiber approach she uses in her sculptures. She said the approach is seen from the use of soft and foldable materials.
One of her works is "Nguntun" which is exhibited at EBB AND FLOW Contemporary Indonesian sculpture from the Konfir Kabo Collection.
"Nguntun" is a braided hair installation inspired by her childhood memories.
