The bike rides took the riders on a journey across Bintan, while the island’s natural beauty and warm hospitality made their experience truly unforgettable. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the stunning landscapes accompanying them along the route, Tour de Bintan 2026 served as a memorable showcase of Bintan’s great potential as a world-class destination for both sports and leisure.

On this occasion, we spoke directly with several riders, including Rebecca Orme from Australia, Jerome Greiner from France, and Arvin Iskandar from Jakarta. They shared their experiences of taking part in the race, the excitement of riding the course, and the various challenges they faced, from the distance and route conditions to maintaining stamina and focus throughout the competition.

Another special moment was the opportunity to interview Stephen Lane from Melbourne, Australia, the winner of the 150 km category. Stephen’s story offered an insight into the determination, strategy, and endurance required to reach the podium.

Stephen Lane also shared a few tips for preparing for a long ride. He recommended starting with shorter distances, gradually and consistently building up training, and then increasing the distance step by step until you are fully prepared to take on a long ride.
