After a meeting between President Joko Widodo and PM Scott Morrison at the recent Group of 20 leaders’ summit, there was talk of creating an Indonesia-Australia travel bubble. International travel to Bali has already reopened to visitors from 19 countries. But Australia is not one of them.
Ida Bagus Puja is the Director of the Bali Tourism Polytechnic, a government tertiary education institute. He explains to Sri Dean the current state of tourism in Bali after the island was opened up and how the island is preparing for the return of tourists under changed circumstances.
