Several organisations have now united in a bid to have the age of criminal responsibility raised to ensure children aren't caught up in Australia's criminal justice system.


Lawyers, doctors and human rights experts from across Australia are calling to raise the age to which children can be held criminally liable. They're concerned that incarcerated young people are among the most vulnerable people in the community, but their health is rarely seen as a priority.
