The Indonesian Welfare Association (IWA) was formed in 1997 where one of its purposes was to provide information support related to Australian government services in Indonesian language that could improve migrant's welfare.
Now, the organisation has six groups based in six different areas in New South Wales, offering supports of different kind of activities.
One of the activities organised at their West Ryde branch was the 2025 Lunar New Year celebration on 5 February that was specially catered for Indonesian seniors.
