Most likely people who are working from home during this pandemic will continue to do so in the future.


A new report from the Productivity Commission said before the pandemic, around eight per cent of Australian workers worked at least part time from home. That figure has jumped to around 40 percent and is likely to stay near that level even as COVID restrictions are relaxed,

A new Productivity Commission report predicts the overall number will remain high long after the lockdown ends.

The report emphasizes that there are downsides to working from home, including the impact on mental health.
