Governments around the country are continuing to ease COVID-19 restrictions as new case numbers show a continuing decline in community transmissions of the virus.

While minor cases of transmission continue - such as the case of schools in Sydney being closed for two weeks, and another case that forced the postponement of an N-R-L match because the son of one of the football players contracted Covid-19.

Health authorities believe they have managed to control the virus outbreak.

In New South Wales starting in July, cultural and outdoor sports venues with a capacity of up to 40 thousand will be allowed to accommodate a quarter of their capacity.

The state has also announced it will lift the 50-person limit in cafes, restaurants and churches.

In Victoria Starting next week, pubs, clubs, restaurants, galleries and libraries will be able to accommodate up to fifty people - as well as theaters, concert halls and theaters. The gym will also be able to reopen their doors, and junior sports can conduct contact training.

In Queensland, the country's success in fighting the spread of the virus has opened up opportunities to carry out operations to reduce the waiting list for elective surgery.
