Victoria will ease restrictions after eliminating community transmission of COVID-19. This is the most significant easing of restrictions since the start of the pandemic.


Meanwhile, Australian Medical Assistance Teams (AUSMAT) is sending Australian medical professionals to Papua New Guinea to assist the country fight an outbreak of COVID-19.  The team will deliver doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to PNG, and provide other medical support.
