Dare we dream of Indonesian becoming an international language

At the 42nd UNESCO General Assembly which took place from 7-22 November 2023, Indonesian was approved to be the official language of the organization's General Assembly.


Prof. Purnawan is the Dean of the Faculty of Art at Airlangga University and Prof. Rahma Sugihartini is Professor of Information Science atAirlangga University too. They told SBS Indonesian that they both believe that Indonesian can even become an international language, especially if the young people took an active role.
