In late November 2021, the Federal Government released a report called “Setting the Standard”. This concerns the level of sexual assault and sexual harassment that occurs in the Australian Federal Parliament. The finding surprised some people. To what extent can the Morrison government implement the report's 28 recommendations?


Prof Sharyn Davies is Director of the Herb Feith Indonesia Engagement Center and Associate Professor in the School of Languages, Literatures, Cultures and Linguistics, at Monash University, together with Kate Walton a writer and activist and co-organizer of the “March 4 Justice” rally explained to Sri Dean what they expected from the report's recommendations.
