Delayed vaccine supplies disrupt coronavirus inoculations

Delays in vaccine distribution are disrupting inoculation efforts in the United States and the European Union.


New York state and California are reporting the highest death rates in the country as health authorities struggle with vaccine supply.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio says the city has had to cancel people's appointments to receive the first dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech  vaccine this week because of a lack of supply.

United States health authorities aren't the only ones trying to wrangle better supplies.

Non-EU member countries are also voicing concerns about vaccine distribution and availability.
