Doctors urged to ask tough questions on pregnant women's drinking

Doctors are being urged to ask pregnant women tough questions about their alcohol consumption. The advice is part of efforts to reduce the number of children born with Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.


One Aboriginal organisation says failing to ask mothers-to-be about their drinking to avoid stereotyping them jeopardises the health of children.
