Every two years the Earth and Mars align, shrinking the time it takes to travel between the planets, and 2020 is one of those years.
Sending spacecraft to the land on Mars is very complex.
But that doesn't prevent some countries from trying it.
The United Arab Emirates launched the first Arab space mission to Mars on rockets from Japan containing unmanned Al-Amal rides or Hope.
The United States will also begin its Mars 2020 mission with the launch of NASA's Perseverance Rover on July 30
While China has successfully launched its first Tianwen-1 Mars vehicle on July 24.
