Free and on-line, the 2021 ReelOzInd short film festival celebrates “Connection” in a time of isolation

ReelOzInd is a short film festival that celebrates innovative film-making across Indonesia and Australia that starts on 10 October. This year’s theme is Koneksi/Connection. Both a panel of judges and audiences select the winners. The judging panel have been assessing the entries. What happens next?


Along with Dr Jemma Purdey, film lover and film critic GastonSoehadi is a director of ReelOzInd.  He will also be a judge in the upcoming Indonesian Film Festival.  Among other things he explains to Sri Dean the different categories of film in the festival and the differences in approach between the Australian and Indonesian film makers.  The festival premiers will be on the 10 October.
