Research suggests the weather is becoming more extreme, and experts believe this could play a prominent role when voters head to the polls next year. The Australian Labor Party recently promised to make a 43 per cent emissions cut by 2030. However, some experts warn that it is a goal that falls short of what the science calls for.


To limit global warming within the Paris Agreement goal of "well below" two degrees, scientists and Greens activists are pushing for a 75 per cent emissions cut.  What do Australian voters want?
