"I know there are so many others who can sing, so I didn't expect to be chosen," he says to SBS Indonesian.

Peter says that his intention in sending the demo is that so Indonesian can be represented.

"My participation is because I want Indonesia to be represented," says Peter. "It would be a shame if Bahasa Indonesia is not represented in this album because there are so many Indonesians in Sydney and Australia.

"At least there is one person who represents our beloved language, Bahasa Indonesia."
