Wahyu Susilo, the Executive Director of Migrant Care offers some suggestions on how to improve the electoral system to better represent the interests of Indonesians working overseas.


What obstacles did Indonesian workers face in exercising their democratic right in the election that was held on 14 April in Hong Kong?  Were there also issues in the supervision and conduct of the election?  How well does the current division of electorates serve the interests of the Indonesian diaspora?   Wahyu Susilo explains the problems and offers some solutions.
