Less than two years after entering the music business, entrepreneur and saxophonist Ivan Paulus won his first music award.
Having only just begun his career in music in April 2024, Sydney-based entrepreneur Ivan Paulus earned his first award in the music industry. At the 2025 Indonesian Music Awards (AMI), he received an award through Indra Lesmana's win for Best Jazz Artist, for which he served as the Executive Producer.
At the prestigious annual music awards, Ivan Paulus himself was nominated for Best Instrumental Composition for 'Holy Forever', a single he performed with the Czech Symphony Orchestra and renowned Indonesian musician Dwiki Dharmawan.
Ivan Paulus admitted to SBS Indonesian that he is highly competitive and that this result was what he had expected when he began working on the project with renowned Indonesian musicians.
