Violence cases are still frequent in Indonesia. Why is that?

Many problems in Indonesia are solved by violent means, thus causing violence to become a kind of culture.


Indonesians are familiar with violence. Many problems are solved by violent means. Instead, a lot of violence arises, from pre-existing violence. Violence becomes a kind of culture.

What is the cause, and whether society can stop that.


Psychiatrist from Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing (FKKMK) Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, Dr Ronny Tri Wirasto Sp KJ, shared his views on why violence is so much in Indonesian society.
