With the 2024 general election taking place today in Indonesia - and on 10 February in Australia - and the subsequent votes counting, here's what some Indonesians in Sydney say about the leader of their choice who is expected to win.
"For me, at least someone who knows what they are doing. So they'd know what to answer when being asked," said Nabila, who is currently in Sydney on Working Holiday Visa.
"He has to know what he wants to do for this country," Nadhiva continued.
"Those who are dedicated to Indonesia, certainly making Indonesia better in all aspects, especially for education," according to Intan.
Meanwhile, Adli said that he chose leader whose credibility was tested and not solely because of social media or gimmicks.
