Leaders weigh up Australia's energy future

In a bid to reduce Australia's carbon emissions, the federal government has unveiled its new Technology Investment Roadmap.

The discussion paper outlines the viability of 140 different technologies, including hydrogen, nuclear, renewables, biofuels and carbon capture and storage.

Minister for Energy and Emissions Reduction says the roadmap will allow Australia to meet the 2030 Paris Agreement climate goals while maintaining a strong economy.
