Australia and Indonesia share some problems in encouraging people to behave in the right way in public to combat the spread of COVID-19. Cultural and linguistic diversity and plenty of misinformation on social media create some difficulties in communication. But there are opportunities to get the message across.
Australia and Indonesia have a chance to learn from each other in raising awareness about how to behave safely in public during the pandemic. Dr Reisa Broto Asmoro, spokesperson for Indonesia’s Task Force for the Acceleration Management of COVID-19, talks about the challenges and the way ahead.
