Living through the COVID-era has been distressing and disruptive for most of us. It has been extremely stressful with broad-ranging impacts. But in this time many people have made adjustments, sometimes by discovering new interests or rediscovering old ones. Lolita Larasati Hall is one of those people.
Lolita Larasati Hall is a member of the Indonesian diaspora in Perth. She has a large collection of batik cloth. She explains to Sri Dean her love of batik, the ways she cares for her batik collection and why maintaining a love of batik in the younger generation is important to Indonesians, especially Indonesians who live abroad.
