In Chinese culture, horses are often regarded as symbols of success and courage due to their always forward-moving nature and having a high work ethic.
Characteristically, individuals born under the auspices of this shio are known as extroverted, independent, and highly energetic individuals. They have a strong social appeal as well as the ability to motivate people around them.
In an interview on SBS Radio, Feng Shui expert Suhana Lim explained that 2026 is the year of the Fire Horse which will only begin on February 17, 2026 according to the Chinese calendar.
This year is predicted to have two contrasting sides, where the upside is marked by a spirit of optimism and squirming economic growth, but the downside carries the risk of friction or conflict as well as public emotions that tend to be more explosive.
Suhana Lim emphasized that the characters of “Fire Horse” often make people act impulsively without thinking long, so he appealed to the importance of keeping a cool head even though the mood was heating up.
Regarding business opportunities, sectors related to water, wood, and metals such as IT, education, food, and automotive are predicted to grow rapidly, while the property and finance sectors may face greater challenges.
From the health side, the public is reminded to be more vigilant against disorders of the heart, kidneys, and lungs organs.

At the end of the conversation, Suhana Lim advised that each individual is capable of self-introspection, wise in filtering information on social media, and not easily provoked by emotions so that 2026 can be passed more peacefully, harmoniously, and bring good luck to everyone.
