New analysis has found that when it comes to Osteoporosis there is an alarming number of people who are not being diagnosed.

Healing fractures due to osteoporosis costs the Australian health system more than $3 billion per year. But despite that, only half of Australian adults who are at rest actually have a vital scan for the condition.
Experts encourage all Australians over the age of 50 to take a simple online assessment.
If deemed 'at risk', a bone density check can then be done to find out if they have the condition, at full replacement cost.
If undiagnosed, the long-term impact of this disease on health can be devastating.
