Took place at the Australian National University's Hedley Bull Building, the winners of the 2024 National Australia Indonesia Language Awards (NAILA) were announced on 7 December.
Open to students in primary schools, secondary schools, universities, and young professionals, the annual speech competition celebrates those who are learning Indonesian.
Speaking to SBS Indonesian, a NAILA representative said that the participants’ language skills are getting more impressive each year, with the delivery of their speeches becoming more innovative.
