Before the visit happened, not everyone was so sure about intention of the speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi’s to visit to Taiwan. However, the speaker believed that her visit was promoting democracy.


Edward Buckingham is Professor of Management at the School of Business, Monash University and Director of Masters in Business Innovation, Monash University, Indonesia. Two days before the visit Prof Buckingham explains to Sri Dean why he believes that Nancy Pelosi should reconsider her intention.
