Australia is on the path to easing coronavirus restrictions after Australia recorded more than 6,600 cases and 81 deaths.
At the National Cabinet meeting, the Federal Government revealed modeling showing the spread of the corona virus had slowed both for overseas arrivals and local outbreaks.
It looks like the government's move has so far been successful, with Modeling by the University of Melbourne showing the number of new cases is now below one in all states and territories except Tasmania.
Despite positive signs, Prime Minister Scott Morrison has warned that lifting restrictions could trigger more outbreaks.
