During the height of the pandemic and lock-down a lot of people put on weight. But for some Indonesians observing health protocols like social distancing resulted in them increasing their exercise and changing their pattern of exercise.


Marya Yenita Sitohang, is a researcher in the Research Centre for Population, at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). She explains a number of changes in peoples’ exercise regimes during the pandemic and how we can learn from their example.
