The state of NSW of more than ten million people, from December 15 will welcome back unvaccinated people out of lockdown - a move that has sparked concern among vulnerable members of the public.

New South Wales will be the first state in the country to reopen all-resident restrictions.

Starting Wednesday 15 December, everyone in New South Wales, regardless of their vaccination status, will only need to wear a mask on public transport, at the airport or on the plane.
Restrictions on indoor and outdoor gatherings, fitness centers and hospitality venues will be lifted - while everyone will be allowed into retail stores, and entertainment venues.
And traveling to regional and rural parts of the state will also make a comeback.
Check-in Q-R codes will still be required for some places such as hospitals, nursing homes, places of worship, and fitness centers.
While masks are not mandatory, they are highly recommended in settings where you cannot practice social distancing.
