Ouch! Socceroos stung by a VAR decision in World Cup qualifier against China. Can they still make it to Qatar?

After losing to Japan and only getting a point against Saudi Arabia the Socceroos really needed to win in their World Cup Qualifying match against China in Sharjah on 16 November. The final score was 1-1. In the previous encounter the score was Australia 3-China 0. What has happened to the team that won 11 games in a row?


Robbie Gaspar was the first Australian footballer to play in Indonesia. He is currently a Player Development Manager, a football ambassador and a director of the Indonesia Institute.  He explains to Sri Dean why he is optimistic that the Socceroos can still finish in the top 2 teams in its group.
