Over 80% of Muslims experience discrimination in Australia

A new report has revealed an overwhelming majority of Muslims in Australia have experienced some form of discrimination in their lifetime.


A new report called "Sharing the Experiences of Australian Muslims" shows he's not alone. 

It found 80 per cent of more than 1,000 (1017) participants have experienced some form of discrimination.

Half ((50%)) of those said it was when dealing with law enforcement.

48% said they were targeted in workplaces or when seeking employment,  while 29% said they experienced some form of discrimination in educational institutions.
