The ALP Labor Party won absolute at the election this time in the state of NSW.


Since World War II the Labor Party has only twice managed to form government in NSW namely in 1976 under Neville Wran and in 1995 led by Bob Carr.

Labor Party Leader and Premier Elect Chris Minns said his party intended to make the best use of the Labor Party's return to government.
