Santi Yasmini Nigro - marathon runner from Indonesia

An Indonesian woman Ms Santi Yasmini Nigro, mother of 2, choose running as her sport .


At first Ms Santi had problems with her weight after giving birth to her 2nd child.

Then she joined a training exercise group and recommended running.

2006 she started with short distance running twice a week and then got addicted to long-distance running and marathons.

2014 she completed 21 km run in Melbourne 2020 — 2021 lockdown so no event and this year 2022 unfortunately she was “kissed” by covid and failed to participate in the Melbourne marathon race 2022.

But now Santi has prepared himself again to join long distance running events n the near future.

Duringa conversation with Ms Rita Suban, SBS Indonesian correspondent, Ms Santi gave her tips and what can be done to look after your body.
