The independent review of the NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme involved more than 10,000 people who had experienced a disability or used the support sector.
Conducted by one of the scheme's original architects, Professor Bruce Bonyhady and former senior civil servant Lisa Paul, the review is aimed at reforming the benefits system to make it sustainable in the future and tackle problems such as fraud, injustice and slow service delivery.
The review also seeks to address the issue of labour shortages by ensuring continuing professional training, and allowing workers to transfer leave entitlements and pension funds between jobs.
