After had to be held virtually following the COVID-19 pandemic last year, this year's Perth Indonesian Festival is coming back with some tweaks.
The festival's event coordinator Firdaus Rofiansyah is also the president of the non-profit organisation hosting this event, KREASI Inc.
To SBS Indonesian, Firdaus said that although he is pleased that a festival of this kind can be held again in Perth, he is disappointed that this year's festival could not run for three days as before the pandemic.

"Most performers are from Sydney and Brisbane [and] because of the limitations of COVID they can't fly," he explained.
