Pressure applied to Federal Government over climate change

The Federal Government is under renewed pressure over climate change action in Australia.


Farmers for Climate Action group, and are increasingly concerned about future droughts, fires and floods.
It said Australia could reach net zero by 2040 with the right policies and investments, and without harming the Agriculture sector.
Farmers and doctors are supported with support from the economic sector.
The Australian Medical Association, said doctors are concerned about the impact of climate change beyond just agriculture.
The global trade and economics body - the OECD now headed by former Australian Finance Minister Mathias Cormann - has also put pressure on climate policy.
