Qantas has announced a major aircraft order that could shift the future of Australia's travel industry.

Under the so-called Project Sunrise, the company ordered 12 Airbus A350 aircraft [A350] capable of flying directly from Australia to any other city in the world from the end of 2025.
Australia's national carrier, Qantas, has announced plans to launch the world's longest non-stop flight to Europe, connecting the country's east coast to London, New York and Paris.
The airline has spent nearly five years working on the so-called "Project Sunrise", with service set to start from Sydney from late 2025.
