The Federal Government has recently made changes to its vaccine rollout. One change was to recommend that people living in Australia who are under 50 years old should not be injected with the AstraZeneca vaccine. People are asking questions about how recent decisions might affect them.


Dr Moelyoto Pangestu is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Faculty of Medicine at Monash University.  He explains why uncertainties have arisen about the vaccine rollout in certain sections of the community.  What does the ‘risks benefits’ concept mean for individuals and the community?
