SBS Audio Indonesian Program managed to talk to Iwan Sulistyawan Wibisono, Rahwana’s Project Manager who is also the director of the drama. Iwan explained about the two events, the prelude festival in October and the main performance in November.
Asked about the reason of choosing Rahwana story Iwan told us that they want to explore other side of this epic drama. Instead of focusing on protagonists character, Rama and Sinta, this time they want to raise the profile of the antagonist character, the King Rahwana himself.
Iwan promised that we will be spoiled with the dazzling costumes and the performance of the multicultural casts, including from Somalia.
