In this project, Majdina aims to highlight the themes of family, friendship, and culture. The visualisation depicts a Muslim family in their living room, waiting to break their fast during Ramadan. She also incorporates elements that show how Ramadan is experienced in different parts of the world.

Majdina also resonates with SBS’s strong values, especially as a network that truly celebrates Australia’s cultural diversity. Being able to share her work with such a wide audience and contribute to storytelling that reflects the different communities in Australia is very meaningful to her.
